Info about Hungarian XC Open 2008 The competition is a FAI 2 class competition, 2nd turn of Hungarian Open National and Hungarian ranking competition.
Organizers: Péter Simonics (meeting director), Zsolt Pereczes (technical director), Rakuscek Klavdij (local contact), MPC Extreme Sport Association.
Place: Stol, Kobarid, Slovenia.
Date: 29 May - 1 June, 2008.*
Preregistation for the competition is possible through the http://www.hungarian-xc-open.com/ homepage until 22 May, 2008.
Entry fee paid until 22 May, 2008: 70 EURO.
- for the preregistrated pilots paid at the competition: 80 EURO.
- at the competition without preregistration is 90 EURO.
In case of tandem entry the half of the entry fee should be paid for the passenger.
Entry fee should be transferred to the account of MPC Extreme Sport Association (IBAN: HU93 1170 3006 2007 0634 0000 0000, SWIFT: OTPVHUHB). Please note in the transfer the name of the pilot and the event: Hungarian XC Open 2008.
For the entry every pilot should have: rescue, variometer, accepted GPS, FAI licence and valid IPPI card with Parapro 5 level.
Registration in Kobarid:
18:00-22:00 28 May, 2008.
07:00-09:00 29 May, 2008.
Services included: organization, fee for the starting and landing place, transport to takeoff, retrieve, evaulation, meteo information, prizes, t-shirt (in case of cancelling the competition we send them by postal way), mountain rescue team.
Expecting tasks: complex tasks with more turnpoints.
Documentation of the results: with the generally accepted GPS receivers.
Evaluation: GAP 2000, the categories are out of open category.
Categories: overal, hungarian, female, serial, club, tandem, team.
For prizes every category should have at least 3 participants.
Prizes by categories: diploma and cup for 1-3.
Every question should be answered by the local regulation or by the jury of the competition.

* Organizers reserve that in case of the expectable bad meteo information the competiton is about having less than 3 valid days the event will be cancelled on 27 May, 2008 announced on this homepage. In this case all pilots will receive their whole entry fee paid or it is possible use as entry to XC Open 2008 competition.
